Accredited as a lawyer in Hamburg since July 1983 and self-employed.
Founded the lawyer and tax advisor partnership HAUSWALDT BOLLMEYER in 1998 together with tax advisor Karl-Heinz Bollmeyer.

Since then an advisor to small and medium-sized enterprises, in particular in the areas of company law and intellectual property rights (copyright law, trademark rights, competition law etc.).
The concept behind the partnership was always to provide longstanding clients with a one-stop consultancy for legal (and fiscal law) matters, offering legal certainty and avoiding litigation through contractual provisions.
Assistance was provided for various successful M&A transactions (e.g. sale of the company Steinberg Media Technologies AG, today part of the Yamaha Group) and also for initial public offerings (e.g. Kabel New Media AG) mostly for owner-managed companies.
